The results for 2002 are finally: Laufer wins the FW and becomes second
DWC
overall! Again a great success for
Lorch in DWC 2002: Three Lorch teamrider could make it into the top 10
overall! No other brand could do that!

2) Spark 247
With the new freestyle shape Günter Lorch once more did an amazing
job! The
spark is the right board for all the
radical new style jumps and manoeuvre combinations. Because of the
revolutionary rocker-line planning and jumping
have never been that easy! 98 litres of volume by only 247 cm of length:
Width means being sluggish? No, not at
all! It means early planning, tolerance and perfect manoeuvrability,
because with the new rockerline and a special
railshape, the board behaves unbelievable lively and reacts to every tip
of
your toe.

Var det där något att skryta med?
Nya freestylebrädan väger ju mer än nästan alla konkurenters. Shapen däremot såg bra ut.
Synd att brädorna inte har något andrahandsvärde. -
Vill du ha en lättare så får du satsa på en custom…
Jag skulle säga tvärtom -Lorch har bättre andrahandsvärde, förutom kvalitén så byter ju lorch inte sina modeller stup i ett……

Angående vikten: Eftersom brädan är så bred blir ytan större än en smalare bräda med samma volym (testa och vik ihop ett papper dubbelt t ex). Större yta kräver mer plast och kolfiber -> mer vikt än en smalare bräda med samma volym.
