  Gbg snowkite

  Anyone snowkiting in the Gbg area? Thought I might try Torsviken Saturday. Any oter ideas?

  Hi Dave!

  During x-mas I was at the golf course next to Torsviken -It was great! The ice had not frozen enought on the water then. I recon you have a lot of snow now so try the golf course at Torslanda old airport. But I was lucky to get some good eastern wind, witch is rare, If the wind comes from west try Torsviken if the ice is solid. The golf-course was fun with all the hills and at top you could have a nice look at the ocean -but bevare to go to close to the edge if the wind is eastern. One downside is that it can be alot of youngsters with snowracers at the weekend.

  There are also some some big lakes at the Landvetter areat that can work to.

  Great info as always Andreas. Sadly it seemed just too wet/warm – and not particularly windy either. We will have to hook up one of these days and rip it up on some snow.
