Speedsurfingblog: BK Speed 2010 7 april update
Predictions look really bad right now, soo thinking about going home. To bad there will be no competition experience for me over here, I felt like good prepared and my speed was rising on the course. This trip is worth a lot of $$$ for me, I actually learned a lot.
Now I have this (little?!?) change in mind for RS:Slalom to RS:Racing, finally got the RSR working sooooo good..
Yesterday was one of the best sessions ever for me, sailed the isonic 122 + 7.0 + the new Sonntag Fins SL-P 440/480. Tested it against Sarah Hebert, she was really good, I had a hard time keeping up. So sonntag fins suit her style was my conclusion. Lateron I was sailing alone for some speeed, the iSonic122 had this massive feeling (driving a truck or soo). At 30kn there was like a wall, really sensational high forces, trimmed really well, with the ability of going near 30kn crosswind we are excited about the new design. Also upwind it went like a rocket, great big smile.
Even downwind speed it wasn’t so bad, was competitive against smaller gear ;), some small details will be tested and after this I think the SL-P will be a great product.
