Adjustable outhal….hmmm??
Vad tror ni om att kunna förändra sitt uthal under segling…?
Känns säkert som en produkt vettig produkt för formula, tycker mig ha sett den tidigare inom formula där den helt klart har ett syfte!Men denna lösning tycks vara för våg/freestyle..vad tror ni?
Tycker själv jag att den kan verka vara aningen onödig..
Adjustable outhaul
For 2004 The Loft includes a simple, light outhaul adjustment system with all O2 sizes.
Those who adapt best to the conditions win windsurfng races. A basic part of adapting to conditions is the adjustable outhaul. Racers normally rig their sails with outhaul adjustment systems that include boom-mounted cleats and low-friction roller-blocks.
The Loft adjustable outhaul system is not intended to replace racing-type outhaul adjustment systems. With care when placing and using The Loft adjustable outhaul, the recreational windsurfer now has an easy way to modify outhaul tension without having to go to the beach.
The adjustable outhaul allows easy on-the-water outhaul adjustments so you can adapt your rig to the windsurfing conditions without needing to visit the beach. Once experiencing the system you will appreciate its ease of use and the expansion of your wind range.
1. Adjustments are best made when stopped, then adjust as needed and go!
2. With positions of the adjustable outhaul and line lengths adjusted to suit you and your boom, outhaul tension can be released while in the harness.
3. Tensioning the system is best done when not hooked in the harness.
4. Extreme hard trim (outhaul set very tight for strong wind conditions) may be best set without use of the adjustable outhaul as the system as long lines and high tensions may stretch and result in lower outhaul tension.

ja till fomrula används det ju rätt flitigt men till freestyle… nje. ska vi börja köra med två par hänseletampar med eller?

Det är O2 seglena man snackar om, och det är inte wave/freestyle.
O2 finns i freeride, freerace, O2+racing.
Våg seglena heter LIP wave och LIP freewave (kanon segel som jag har själv).Johan

Vet att Matt Prichard kört mycket med justerbart när han tävlat. Då hinner man inte rigga om..
Har hört att många vågseglare på Maui kör med justerbart men jag vet inte. Jag brukar stanna vid stranden och spänna om men är man ute bland bryten kan det ju vara smidigt.
