Friends!
Welcome to my new blog! This is my fist attempt in the brave new world (maybe not all that new, but new to me) of social media. My surf notes will focus on some of my main interests all joined together by a passion for enjoying waves. It could be bodysurfing, surfing, windsurfing, just playing around in the ocean, or even just by sitting in the late afternoon on the beach, watching the braking waves feeling the force of the ocean, hanging with the last surfers coming in from their sunset session. The notes will also comprise related things like my surf board shaping, my little surf shed full of surf and windsurf stuff (most of it home built ’Eight-08’ surf boards or windsurf sails from Hotsailsmaui). I’m not sure where to draw the line between the content in my ’surf nots’ and other aspects of my life. We’ll see where it all ends up!

Right now I’m on Maui Hawaii for a month-and-a-half. Have been going here since late 1980:s. Expect some reports from this favorite island of mine very shortly. Until then
