Continentseven: Magic Feelings 2010 ? a windsurfing event by Sarah Hebert

On the first weekend of February we saw the first edition of the “Magic feelings 2010″ ladies only event in Noumea, New Caledonia. Sarah Hebert, who finished the 2009 PWA Slalom tour in excellent 3rd position overall, teached a bunch of ladies at her homespot.
Sarah reported: “On Saturday, the 6th of February, I invited all the women windsurfer of Noumea, New Caledonia, to share the passion of windsurfing and other trendy watersports like SUP. The weather was not perfect, but 15 girls responded to my invitation and showed up at the beach! After a warm up lesson, we did some Stand Up Paddle. It was a discover for all of them with a lot of laughing and crashing. For lunch we crossed the bay to go to Duck island. We had strong wind conditions. Sharing our meal there was a good reward after an intense workout while the morning hours!”

On every face there was a smile at the end of this wonderful journey. I did a streching lesson and a glass of friendship with a lottery.
Sarah already has plans for 2011. “Next year hopefully the weather will be good and we will have more women in the Blue Lagoon of New Caledonia! I definitely spent a very nice day sharing what I like to do the most, helping this women to progress, what was really pleasant!”
