  Masters of Speed har seglat lite idag..

  Första dagen med lite vind, under den nya perioden och inga spektatulära tider
  Men notera att Valerie Ghibaudo (en tjej) kom på andra plats och spöade duktiga killar

  Valerie har ju inte seglat/tävlat på några år, men var ju riktigt duktig förr.
  Det verkar som, det fortfarande gäller och hon är ju bara några knop från Karin jagges rekord i tveksam vind..

  The strange and somewhat scary southwest wind (remembrances from Halloween ’03) arrived here to the shores of the Camargue with a strength registered between 25 and 30-knots for the late morning and early afternoon.

  While the direction and angle was already very broad (128 degrees) at 10am, the wind continued the turn around to the right and a more westerly direction throughout the day.

  Four sailors made it to the Canal today, a sure sign that the conditions were never going to be very good for new records, but it was worth it anyway as this was the first day of sailable wind since the start of the period.

  The luck in that respect just hasn’t been there for us but we still have three weeks to go.

  Due to the intensive flooding around the entire surrounding areas, no photographers were able to get any pictures taken today.
