Windsurfing in Sweden
I will be visiting Family in Sweden during June this year.
Can Anybody advise me as to where the best place to Sail / Rent Formula or Slalom equipment. Unfortunatly I do not speak Swedish. Thanks Jules (South Africa) -

Well, he will sure miss South Africa from a windsurfing point of view at least… 🙂
A bit like leaving Japan and asking if there is any good Sumo wrestling to be had in Sweden, isn’t it?
Jules, you are most welcome and there IS decent windsurfing to be had here in Sweden as long as you combine it with A: Enthusiasm and B: Patience. A good mixture of both is required, stir gently and combine with the correct amount of C: Expectations and you will have a great time here!
As Oscar asks, tell us where in Sweden you will be and lots of info will be given here.

I think Sweden is a very good place for Formula and also quite good for slalom.
You are welcome to rent from us, we have the latest Slalom and Formula equipment for rental. Also for long term rental so you can bring it anywhere in Sweden.

Agreed, you can find lots of really good formula sailing in Sweden!
It is just different (very) compared with SA, but that has to be expected. We are a fair bit up north here.
Personally, I am still surprised at the sailing available here in Sweden if one just takes time to find it!
Nice option to be able to rent gear from you!
