I hate to give away my secrets or everyone’s videos will start to look like mine haha but it was shot on the lowly GS500… mostly in procinema mode with stabilisation switched off, as that is supposed to give better res, even with optical stab…. I have a 35mm adapter and shoot some stuff with it through Nikon SLR lenses, but that is next to useless for kitesurfing. But here’s a sample with the 35mm adapter:

The secret to super slomo is to shoot interlaced, render to progressive at 50% speed so each field becomes a frame. I do this with vegas, it automatically interpolate deinterlaces to create a new frame from each field. Then you apply twixtor (in AE or premier pro) to the 50% progressive video. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I programmed reference points frame by frame over a few frames and slowed it to about 1% speed. Twixtor generates intermediate frames using morphing and motion vectors and so on.

The colours were basically using levels effect studio rgb to computer rgb to drop black level, s shaped colour curve, and colour corrector to push midtones a little towards orange and desturate to about 60%. I also put a vignette thing on it to darken the edges.
