  Curtis are only working at 70 for new designs as per above for Formula.

  Six titles were won on the CR-15 at US Nationals. Sam Ireland won the Nitinat event in Canada on one of my demo 70cm molded CR-15. Events have been won in many countries in the past year.

  Currently in Hood River we have

  CR-15 molded carbon 70, 62, 58
  CR-15 CNC 70, 68
  CR-15 CNC reg CG-10 66
  CR-15 75, 80

  I will introduce in Brazil:

  CR-15 CNC 70 ( stiff)
  CR-15ax 70 CNC (10% wider at base than CR-15) ( med stiff, and stiff)
  CR-15bx 70 very wide (stiff)

  Then early Nov more in construction
  CR-15 CNC 70bx (stiff)
  CR-15 CNC 70 (stiff)

  However, the CR-15 75 80 and 85 are faster than the wider fins necessary for the 70 cm limit in racing. We havee been testing extensively and refining all year.

  So if you race the designing is interesting at 70.

  But real efficiency if you are not racing is over 70 if water depth is adequate.

  I might add for recreational sailing and where water depth will not permit, some new designs are working very well from 50 to 50.
  The DC42 if it is shallow and for learning.
