Hej!
Enligt vad jag har läst på SB forum så ska den ha samma mått som 105 men med en lite ändrad rocker, för ev. tyngre seglare, rätta mig om jag har fel.har är ett inlägg..
Making the Hypersonic board concept more suited also for the heavier recreational sailor, say 80-100 kg, we introduce the new Hypersonic 125 as an evolution of the 105. HS125 GCS has the same basic HS105 outline dimensions, with a higher volume due to a carefully refined increased board thickness .
The board however retains its’ hi wind control as it features the GCS ( Gravity Control System) which we introduced back in 1994 with the first Starboard range . This is a shaped recess in the standing area leaving the rail curve and distance from the foot to the water at the same level as the 105, thus gives you the same riding impression while planing despite 20 litres of extra volume.
We have also lifted the rocker marginally to account for the extra volume in the tail, which to a tiny degree normally would force the nose down slightly. The benefits are mainly felt in light winds by heavier sailors as HS125 does plane up earlier.
It will also be a good board for less skilled recreational sailors that feel they need the extra volume to safely “take a spin”
in fading or offshore breezes. For the higher skilled medium and light weight sailors the 105 will still be the answer, and also for heavy weight slalom racers that have enough skill to handle a board of this size.
The new HS125 board is still 227cm long and 76.7 wide and comes with the 34 and 44 cm Drake fins.
The weight is 6.9 kg for wood and 7.4Kg for DRAM +- 5%Deliveries in limited quantities to the first orders will start from about February 2003.
Cheers
