Ja, de verkar riktigt roliga, när vågorna är mindre än väntat eller när man vill träna/börja kära strapless wave freestyle.
2014 North Nugget kommer snart och den kommer i två storlekar, 5’2″ och 5’5″, http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2381477&p=804259
Även 2014 SS Space Pickle (hette den Space Potato 2013?) borde väl komma snart också, men då ser ju nästan 2014 T-Rex ännu roligare ut.

Yep, seen very cool vids of skim action (check out Mark Shinn’s in particular), but back in the real world I never seem to see ordinary dudes having real fun on skimboards. But yes, they are much cheaper, so I wouldn’t mind giving ’em a go.

My skim is definitely my favorite board! Haven´t had one bad session with the skim in 2 years. 🙂
Use it for everything from flatwater with S3 21 to 1m habo ljung “waves” with a 9. In bigger waves i prefer the grip of a waveboard. But when i go to the wave board i miss the quickness of the skim. 🙂
It was also awesome in the dominican republic for shorebreak with the S3 in the 5m/s days.

But go for a real skim for waves, like the ZAP. The kiteskims i have tried are heavy and don´t have nearly as good rails. And you can´t skim on them.
Come down to skåne and try one, or I could bring it the next time i go up the coast.

Jag förstår, kostar 2014 SS i närheten 2013 är det dock snarare 5900 och jag har hört snack om att Nugget ska bli billigare, ca 5500, med andra ord några hundringar mer än den Circle One.
