I dont care what they say.. they still havent proven that I as a kiteboarder effect the nesting birds in the grass more than an old lady with her annoying small dog walking on the beach behind the dunes because its too windy to be on the beach.

I do however believe that its every kiteboarders responsibility to behave in a way that is courteous and respectful towards other beach users, and as long as we do that, we will be seen in the eyes of everyone that is not a bird watcher (the majority of mankind), and I suspect many of the community that love wildlife as well, with a positive friendly attitude. Show surferlove and manners and it will all be cool – Even in the face of BLATANT irrationality shown by people that these renegade groups consist of.

the thing that worries me most about the näs is what will happen this summer.. we are all down in one little corner with all the people swimming, it seems the windsurfers are not even aware that we are not supposed to be at Störvägen despite the sign that is clearly visable at the car park… disaster waiting to happen.

well two options… I guess replace the bladder is the first… second could be silicone.. either silicone it closed perminantly or put in some silicone, and cover the stopper with Vaseline or thread tape (the white stuff you put on screws to stop them coming loose or tighning connections) that you can remove later so that they dont stick together, although I doubt it will be as easy to do as it is to say..?

Screw open the valve, you will see a rubber O-ring that makes a seal.. take it out and clean the side you cannot normally see.. then put it back..

when its got sand in there air goes up the side where the threads are, over the top of the seal and then back down the outside.
