yeah, I rode Best for a season between EH and Naish… nice kite, in fact, its a great kite in waves, but the medium aspect kites are always going to be that little bit faster back out of the water. I have noticed that high aspect kites are pretty easy to reverse launch though.

you got that right!! and isnt the word PUNG just fucking awesome haha!!!

just go with sonar, the only real danger is that you get one of those random direction pisses that always misses the target in the beginning, even when the lights are on…. a surefire way to hit the target.. is to piss silent ninja style down on one knee…

heheheh naaajs.. I tried so hard not to pimp the mystic stuff, no matter how many times I read it you didnt ask about it 🙁

more amazing than sourra dressed in leather slapping you in the face with a wet fish.. kickass.

beware that the best kites are high aspect, which makes them awesome in the air and kinna difficult in the water

its a total technique thing.. it was MårtinT that taught me when I first started, the secret is to keep the kite smooth, and moving as much as possible.
First off, make sure the turns at the top and the bottom of the stroke are never too tight, take the kite up slower than you dive it. Another nice thing to to is to pull on a bit of depower so that you dont oversheet and stall the kite by pulling on the bar too much.
Once you get a bit of speed up, you will have a little more virtual wind and things will get easier. When tacking back and forward, downloop the kite through your turn to maintain momentem in the air : )
When it comes to the board, try to find a nice balance point in how much you point upwind, and downwind, you need to maintain good pressure in your lines without carving too much upwind that you are stalling the kite : )
Practice during the summer, you are going to have plenty days of lightwind riding ahead : )
Gadget.. Man we need to hang out more dude, you coming up to Varberg with us mate?

hehehehe, well the proof is always in the ride, after all it wasnt the hype that attracted me to the naish gear as you all may remember… Apparently, Naish are going to make ”walk of shame stavar” apparently there is no other stick like them….

I am 92kilo.. yesterday I was out in 4-6m/s with a 5″7, 12 cult and could just keep height
-
hi man, if you are only 65, then i dont think you need anything bigger than a 12, its more fun to get a bigger board instead, like a waveboard.. but the 9 is a great size for a lower end.. then if you are really hardcore, get a 6 for storms too : )
-
hope your kites dont break and it takes you 3 months to get them fixed dude or you are shafted with a big elephant dong 😛 (north? :P)
