you will probably find that as the kite cools down you will loose pressure in the bladder, so its not like it will explode or anything…
Riding in the winter must take its toll on the gear, but just be a little carefull with the nozzles of the bladder when its cold. They normally become a little less flexible.
I have pulled off a reverse launch with the Rippehr and I know loads of guys in the UK that use the rippehr for landboarding and buggying.
Go ahead and give it a shot, if it all goes to hell, you know I am gonna help ya out man.

holy hell what a total hero, I take my hat off and bow to such awesome people. The nicest thing about us is that although we dont think about it to often, and maybe dont even appreciate it as much as we should I dont know anyone on the beach that would leave a guy in trouble on the water.
