There is the other side as well, people cannot assume they will get help. In Habo it gets crazy in the summer and its one of the best surfspots simply because there is no shortage of help, the Habolocals are always there, the KITE.SE guys are almost always there and everyone can spot who the people to watch out for are straight away. But.. it wasnt so Long ago that JohanW jumped on to help a guy getting lofted and while trying to save his ass broke both his wrists in return for his act of kindness.

I know that today all of the above guys would not hesitate to help if its not too dangerous, but heck, there has to be a limit to what is safe to do. If you head to a spot without mates, its only GOOD MANNERS to say hello to the other people that may be potentially saving your ass and let them know you may need help or even if its just cold and there are only 2 on the water, just say ”hey dude, I got your back if you have mine?”

Swedish people need to hug more : ) spread the surferlove and get your ass saved : )

I agree with Calle, too many times I have driven down to see if there is wind (read eternal hope) only to sit on the beach in 4m/s and watch some utter fucking noob try and impress chicks on the beach by taking his kite up, only for it to fall back into all the people sunbathing.

We are gonna need a hitler down there this summer keeping tabs on shit.. and it aint gonna be me : )
