i can promise it’s very nice… but you must be carful and watch all the time the dog… because in the deep fresh snow they have hard time to run and kite goes fast…

Yes, lot’s of space… you can ride for hours or days…
no, only in few mountains have some little snow during summertime… and i don’t think it’s interesting to snowkite on it, you can found better things to do.

it’s strange that in sweden everybody speak much about wings and not about experience and riders skill…

a comp like that is never won by a kite but from a rider…

these guys are super good and experienced overall and much knowledge about the area… they could win with ica bags too, if you like 😉

On-Topic: Jag kom hem från Ramis i onsdags och nu ligger det iaf lite mer snö uppe på toppen. Det sticker fortfarande upp en hel del baggel men det är iaf körbart. Det blåste *nada* när jag var uppe nu så det blev till att hyra skoter och kolla omgivningarna. Mycket fina kitespots uppe på fjället så om det kommer en halvmeter puder så blir det… Läs mer på

hej, now the ice on lake is 25-30 cm… and 20-30 cm of snow. for saturday they say not so much wind… better to be more high… sunday it will snow (i hope :)) and a little more wind. Funäsdalssjön is not a very good spot… often gusty, little, and often many snowscooter … better to go in skarvän up beteewn Tänndalen and Ramundbarget…… Läs mer på

This winter we organize trip to helags with hundspann support… also girlfriends or friends not kiters they can come and drive their own sled… all the others by kite… than we can provide a luch in the fjällen and come back. to go to helags it’s really raccomanded to have ski…. better ski with snowskin, sticks and gps in the bag…… Läs mer på

what i can suggest you it’s to think about how long you will live in dalarna…
if you think you will practice snowkite several time and during some year, it’s surly better to have a foil kite…
