really its all about the spot you learn in as well… Habo Ljung near malmö has a super safe spot with flatwater, students are normally riding on their first day. In the summer there is always a party/place to crash.

Jens is right, this shit is getting outta control… from now on, maybe we shoult try and keep the namedropping to a minimum and talk a little about the qualities that make a noobie kite a good one..
For instance, a good noobie kite should be:
1,no older than 3 years old,
2,have good depower, and a reliable easy to operate release system,
3,A medium aspect kite, so the kite has good power at the lower end of the windrange and doesnt turn too fast, making it easy to fuck up,
4,It doesnt need to be new! – a 14000 kite will rip in the trees in exactly the same way as last years model costing 8000.
5,Everyone is going to say their kite is easy to waterstart, however, highaspect kites take more technique than people like to admit.Finally go to the beach, on a day of wind that you would feel happy riding in.. (not a fucking storm) look for someone else as fat as you are, and check out what size of kite they have, it will probably be a 12m/2

hahaha I cant wait for this.. I can almost predict the weekend.. skotten gets wasted on two beers, skotten sleeps until 1pm until he is forced to go surfing by the rest of the guys… skotten feels awfull and hits the beer again… its like some sort of evil circle…

The Naish Cult is a really nice forgiving kite (get a 12m/2), but the easiest way to decide would be call distributors and see which one deals with you the best.. Remember you are buying afterservice as well as a kite, why spend all that money on something if you are not going to be looked after?
if the dude is a salesman, skip it.. but if the dude is a surfer like you.. then you know you cant go wrong : )
