that machine does look pretty lightweight though sourra.. last time I tried to use one, I couldnt quite find the right body position.. I tried everything – over a mirror with one foot on the toiletseat and all that.. in the end I found that sitting on a large circular sanding machine with heavyweight sandpaper did the job, easy, you can just sit there and surf the internet on your laptop. It kinna tickles actually.

they are sweet ass boards actually, he just needs to empty his garage… there are a bunch of kites in there as well actually.. but they are all C-kites.. he doesnt do bow…… yet.

if you are in flat water, you can normally touch the bottom and retrieve your board.
if you are in deeper water with waves, unless you are riding offshore wind, you can pretty much count on finding your board on the beach.
noone does this sport because its safe, but in my opinion there is no need to add more flying objects into the equation.
