I dont agree, I tried the TD1, I thought it was horrible, and because the kite is so flat, it is very prone to inverting.
Try before you buy is my advice, go to a demo day and you will see and feel the difference from other brands.
One thing to remember is that an 800sek kite will fly into the trees and rip in exactly the same way as a 12000sek bow.

call on the guys at kiteboarding.se they are a collection of all the schools in sweden and will send you to your closest instructor, he will give you all the answers you need.

yup its true, Boards get a little knocked up and scratched as well… probably why it isnt worth loosing cash on by selling it.
I am sure you will have loads of offers on here soon with ppl selling boards.

Well a certificate never made anyone a better instructor. Lazy, greedy, stupid are all factors that make a piece of paper totally useless.
As for the Swedish Kiteboard Assoc… well it will be independant, and the KSA and IKO will be members of the Swedish Association.
The Swedish Association cant be a profit making organisation (probably why so many have tried, and realized that it is a no go). Its more about the Lifestyle than the cash.
At the end of the day, it will help all of those stupid issues that everyone has, for instance, wouldnt it be nice if the IKO or SKA had to randomly assess their qualified instructors to make sure they were mentioning what a ”leash” was?.
In my opinion, I think it really sucks to have to enforce such rules on guys that have spent the time and money on going on a course, when so many havent bothered, but it seems like these things have to be done.
In future I would be very carefull about what we all argue about and start making suggestions to help each other so that it doesnt become as ANAL as Paragliding.

yeah I can see why so many have tried and failed, from my communication with the guys in the UK, it is a full time job, and really takes a lot of commitment.
Its nice that I am in a place just now that allows me the freedom to go ahead and push it through, I will no doubt be in contact with Erik and Niklas in the near future to get them underneath my Umberella.

Just to let you all know that on Monday I will have a meeting with a sewing company to make sure that we will have a complete solution to all exploded kites.
I will keep you guys posted. Great for the locals that dont wanna send their gear all the way up to GTB.
