Brädval
Har aldrig satt min fot(fötter) på en surfbräda, dock är jag en hängiven windsurfare. Bor vid sydkusten, väger 87. Är det någon som har koll på för bräda man ska köpa? Tänker nog mest använda brädan när vinden droppar och det fortfarande finns lite vågor… Några förslag på brädor och vart man kan handla dessa. Har en polare som sade att man ska köpa BIC – detta pga av att dom är oförstörbara och billiga.

you’ll learn faster on a normal poly surfboard, might be better off getting one used, look in the classifieds for used minimals and or funboards. for your size, stay around the 7′ +mark, prices should be around 2000-3000, if they want more than that, I have a brand new one for 3 850 at hollywood in GBG

OK. What is a normal Poly?
7’+mark, what do you mean with mark?
Is not 7 very small for my size and skill?

7feet long is big enough as long as there is width and thickness throughout. If you go too big, you will catch more waves but you will lose alot of crucial ingredients to your learning curve like duckdiving, paddling manoeverabillity and wave catching agility, a 20″ wide plus board at 7″+ will be big enough for you to surf on knee high days here in sweden but allow you to go up to overhead as well.
Poly is just the glassing material, it’s sort of slang but real surfboards aren’t done in sandwhich construction like windsurfboards.

not online shops but I do have a 7’2″ minimal at hollywood GBG that is only3850 brand new with fins

Du bör ju iaf börja med en longboard.. Mkt lättare än att köra på min brorsas äckliga fishboard 😛
