Ml7
Från Mike Z/Mike’s Lab:
Thanks for the interest.
I don’t have a production capacity like Cobra, I keep things simple, perhaps
too much in case of my web site.
Anyway, L7 is 80cm one foot of tail. Weight averages 17.5lbs(8kg) hull only.
Cut outs are result of an effort to decrease surface towards the outline,
surface grew on this years model due to wider tail and straighter outline.
Fins should work like on other formula boards, perhaps touch smaller on L7.
Please keep in mind due to my limited production my waiting line tends to be
typically 2-5 monthFrån Mike P/Hansen sails:
I sailed my new L7 yesterday in very mixed conditions, starting out in 12-18mph winds ending in 15-26mph conditions .Iwas very impresed over my last yrs. L6, which I liked very much. L7 has straighter outer lines [not so pulled in in the back 2 ft. ] and a straight line cut out that makes more sence to me. L7 planes up with a lot less drag and sets up more stable on the upwind drive , i found myself able to stand more square , not having to twist my body forward at all .
Ill post some pics tomorrow of the l6 vs l7vs starboard.
Also; Ive been sailing 10.8 and 11.6 protos a lot in the past few weeks; Both are going very well; Ben and myself are experiencing very good performance out of the 11.6 .
We also have been testing a new cam setup that is working btter than I could have hoped! They rotate fully and lock every time , without any kicking the bottom cam!Kanske inte så mycket information som man skulle vilja ha, men ändå lite mer än tidigare?
