Agreed, someone has to make a decision and its going to be me. Spoke to Mike, he also felt happy that people who are likely to nail their gear or themselves should not be near his guests.. otherwise we wont be welcome when the inevitable accident happens.. so,
Schools, south side of the pier. This will also be an area for people learning to get some space away from everyone else.
Rigging, Launching and Landing of the kites will be on the beach/in the water : ) Experienced riders should not be in this area, you will be spotted like a teenager in the kiddy pool.. there is plenty space everywhere else, use that instead.Everyone else uses the north side unless there are no schools or beginners on the south side (like the swimming area for people) No fucking around, unless its away from the campsite, and other people. There is plenty space for everyone to ride however they like, but we cant afford anymore accidents at the campsite. Mike puts up with a lot of crazyness with accidents and giving us a place to hang out and only asks for a parking fee, and a bit of surferlove now and again, lets try give back something, even if its only respect.

Vi kan inte förbjuda någon att surfa någonstans, men vi kan naturligtvis skapa riktlinjer om vi anser att det gynnar spoten och gör den till en säkrare plats för oss och omgivningen. Så får vi alla hjälpas åt att se till att riktlinjerna följs.
Vi har styrelsemöte med klubben på måndag, jag kommer att ta upp ärendet då och återkommer med ett utkast för hur riktlinjerna kan komma att se ut efter mötet.

No single person can make this decision, so.. we have a vote on it monday (I cant be at the meeting, working monday nights) if you want to go there and vote on it please do so!. We can all go on the results of the vote and work from there on afterwards.

+ att märka ut en rekommendation att man inte launchar eller landar kites på gräsplattan utan helst på stranden och kan således ha gräsplattan för riggning och liknande.

Men vad är det som är problemet? Att många vill köra nära bryggan eller?
Vill man slippa en massa folk på vattnet nybörjare som pros så gå då downwind och kita där!
Så jävla löjligt att lipa över att för många kör där man själv vill köra och då ska man förbjuda andra att köra där!
Kör där det inte är så många som surfar så får man ju sitt eget pro område eller nybörjar område beroende på vilken man anser sig vara.

: ) its not about that at all dude, its about making sure that we minamize the risk of accidents by mixing people that are doing extreme stuff with their kite and the guys that want a bit of space to learn.

Det är alltså styrelsemöte på måndag, och det kör vi via skype, så det blir svårt att “komma förbi och rösta”, men ni får gärna göra era röster hörda via mail till: ordforande@surfklubben.se
Tanken med en organiserad spot är bara att minska olyckor och att alla ska få mer plats (såväl nybörjare som erfarna åkare). Ingen lipar i dagsläget, vi har ju en av Sveriges absolut bästa kitespots, men vi vill ju inte att det ska bli farligt bara för att fler börjar köra där. Uppskattningsvis utbildas 300-500 nya kitare i Habo i sommar. Naturligtvis kommer inte alla fortsätta, men det kommer bli trångt snart, tro mig.
