World-Class Action in the Arena

First ever UK Indoor Windsurfing Championships

This debut event, launched by the UK Windsurfing Association (UKWA), the Professional Windsurfing Association (PWA) and National Boat Shows (NBS) will see men, women and youth contestants, from the UK’s windsurfing elite competing in freestyle and slalom disciplines. Top UK windsurfers Nik Baker, Robbie Swift and John Skye hope to be among those competing.

Winners of this UK competition will challenge windsurfing champions from around the world including competitors from the PWA World Tour such as Matt Pritchard (USA), the current world number one in men’s freestyle and Ricardo Campello (Brazil).

The UK Indoor Windsurfing Championships will be held in a spectacular, purpose built watersports pool (30×70 metres) with fans generating 25 knots of wind and seating for over 1,500 people.

There will be at least two sessions each day with a combination of slalom, freestyle and on selected days a jump competition. Results of each session will go forward to a league table, which will change throughout the week. Those competitors in the top spots will then go on to compete in the grand final and will also challenge the top sailors from the rest of the World.

Hallo!
Får instämma i att MTB är ett ypperligt träningssätt. Hela kroppen får sitt, dessutom är det skoj och om man inte lagt ut tillräckligt med kronor på windsurfingen så har du även här en sport som går att lägga en halv förmögenhet på.
Går även inom cykling hitta det mesta i kolfiber.
Sen när det börjar bli för kallt ute både för windsurfingen och cyklingen, så komplettera med gym och simning.
