why not get the mystic one, it offers much better movement in the legs than the dakine one.. demo the dakine, and then I will let you borrow one from the school, there is a huge difference with leg mobility under load.

This happened to me not long ago.. there are really not many options if you get a line break or a tangled bridle..

there are a few things that you can try before letting go of everything, now obviously the safest thing to do is just dump the gear, I am just putting some ideas out there because everyone has doubts when the moment comes.

first off.. pull on the depower strap (I dont reccomend popping out to the leash , get as much pressure off the steering line asap… even try pulling the front lines towards you (watch your fingers, and remember if you pop out this is going to be hard as the bar will be miles away)… This will maybe give the kite a chance to crash into the water and will stop it looping until someone can come help ya.

Another smart move is not to pop out, and just use your trusty MYSTIC knife to cut the steering line.

remember, before you pop out and let go of the gear that there is noone downwind of you, they are more likely to notice a dude looping towards them than a kite just drifting along and give them a shot to get out of the way.

Noone really likes to dump their gear and in habo I have seen it more and more that people will stand and watch rather than run up the beach and wait for the kite to come back in.. keep an eye out for the others at the spot, you never know one day they may need to help you out.
