Ok here is my map of balsberget cave… you will find your way from Kristianstad no problem to Balsberget.. if in doubt, hit http://www.hitta.se and take a look…
From the carpark, the cave is signposted, so just follow the path, its not always open though cos of some bat that lives there.. but normally its open.
There are loads of cool fossils in there and there are a couple of nice tight passages, so if you are costrophobic wait outside…
As you can see from the map there are 2 main chambers. The entrance is small but it opens up pretty quickly. My favourite passage is the one to the South West off of a, its pretty tight and there are some sink holes to climb down, and a real nice passage at the bottom (i wont spoil the surprise by posting a picture of it)
The passage between A and E to the north east is really tight but quite nice to go trough cos its not sharp rock, its dirt 🙂 pretty tight and a nice chaber at the other side where the bats are normally.
Take extra lights, old clothes and dont go too far down the lower passages, that are filled with water :).
